The firm was founded by James D. Ingram, III.  Prior to forming Ingram, Wallis & Company in 1979, Jim was an accounting instructor at Texas A&M University and a partner in another accounting firm.  His leadership has been recognized locally where he has served as President of the Bryan College Station Chamber of Commerce as well as professionally where he has served as Chairman of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and recipient of the highest honor given by The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants for meritorious service to the state’s accounting profession in 2004. Jim retired from the practice in September 2014.
